Mackinac Island, Michigan

The Inn at Bay Harbor

Mackinac Island is an island and resort area in the state of Michigan. It is located in Lake Huron, between the state’s Upper and Lower Peninsulas.  In the late 19th century, Mackinac Island became a popular tourist attraction and summer colony. Many of the structures on the island have undergone extensive historical preservation and restoration. Because the island prohibits motor vehicles, you can’t drive here – at least, not all the way here. Part of the fun is getting here – whether it be by car, bike, ferry or flight. While on the island, choose from an array of activities for the whole family. Spend a relaxing day pool or beachside at your resort, play a round of golf, or take a cruise through the bay. There is something for everyone!
